Contact Thermometer PCE-T 318

PCE-T 318 is a digital contact thermometer used to measure temperature in laboratory, industrial and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems and applications. Compatible with IEC751 PT100, PT500 and PT1000 sensors, this platinum resistance temperature detector (RTD) thermometer includes 1 x 4-wire PT100 class A sensor in the delivery contents. (PT100 sensors have a resistance of 100 ohms at 0°C / 32°F.) Additional sensors sold separately. This portable handheld thermometer offers an impressive temperature measuring range from -100 ... 300°C / -148 ... 572°F with a display resolution of 0.1°. The thermometer features minimum, maximum, average and hold functions. In addition, the device will shutdown automatically after a period of inactivity to conserve battery power. Measurements can be shown on the device's large backlit LCD screen in either Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F), depending on user preference.
